Oreo Balls

Have you ever had Oreo Balls?? If you haven't then you are missing out. They are soooooo good and easy to make. Brett helped me make this batch a few months ago. He was really good at dipping them into the chocolate.

Here is what you do. Crush one package of oreos. Mix with one 8 oz box of cream cheese. Melt almond bark and/or the chcolate bark. Roll the oreo and cream cheese mixture into balls (you choose the size!). You might want to take off your rings, this gets messy. Dip into the melted bark. set on wax paper or a cookie sheet to let the bark harden. You can drizzel more on top for a fancy look.

i have been wanting this recipe! thanks! when you crush the oreos, does that include the white stuff or do you take that out?

Ashley - you include the white stuff! I throw the whole package into my kitchen aid mixer, put on the shield thingy and let the mixer to the work. But you can have a ton of fun doing to by hand.

Do you have a trick for getting the Oreo balls out of the chocolate after you dip them? I have trouble getting them out and looking pretty... Yours look great! And, yes, these are delicious and easy to make.

I have better luck with smaller balls. The credit goes to Brett on this one, he did them. He used a two spoon method, like tongs kinda. He would also spoon some over the top to make sure they got fully covered.
